Le Prospecteur · Le Radar

The addresses that will need you, before they know it themselves.

Le Radar crosses six public Quebec government sources to rank every address in your area by how likely it is to need your trade. You knock on the right doors instead of every door.

Check my area

Le Radar covers Quebec only, and the tool itself runs in French today. Its six sources are provincial government datasets, so an English speaking contractor working in Montreal or the Eastern Townships is served, while one working in Ontario is not.

382,094

addresses analyzed across 697 Quebec municipalities, from six public government sources under an open licence. Nothing scraped off the web, nothing bought from a data broker.

Where Le Radar fits, and where it does not.

Yes, if

  • You buy leads that three or four competitors receive at the same moment you do.
  • You already knock on doors or send mail, without knowing which streets are worth the drive.
  • Your trade is one of the six covered: heating and cooling, roofing, windows, siding, foundations, electrical panels.

No, if

  • You work outside Quebec. The six sources are provincial and the coverage stops at the border.
  • You want appointments already booked. Le Radar gives ranked addresses, not clients who raised a hand.
  • Your book is full for the year. A list of doors does you no good until you can visit them.

Three steps between you and the right address

  1. You pick your trade and your area

One trade among the six covered, one municipality. Coverage is configured in a few minutes.

  2. You get the top fifth, ranked

The addresses most likely to need you, each with the signals that push it up: age of the installation, assessed value, recent permits, weather, tree cover, competitor density.

  3. You knock on the right doors

Map, spreadsheet export and an approach script built on each address's own signals, so you open with the right sentence.

What people ask us before subscribing

Where does the data come from?
From six public government sources: the provincial property assessment roll, the Quebec address register, municipal permits, Environment Canada, the provincial LiDAR survey and the Régie du bâtiment licence registry. All under the open CC BY 4.0 licence.
Is area exclusivity real, or is it a promise?
It is locked in the database: one Pro subscriber per combination of trade and area, never two. For as long as you stay subscribed, your area is not available to anybody else.
How is this better than buying leads?
A bought lead is shared, and it arrives once the client is already shopping around. A ranked address arrives earlier, and on the Pro tier it is sold to you alone.
How often does the data change?
The assessment roll moves once a year; permits and weather move continuously. What changes is what justifies a subscription. If all you want is the snapshot, take the area once.
My trade is not on the list.
Tell us. The six trades covered are the ones whose signals can be measured today, and the list grows when a source allows it.

Look at your area before paying anything.
